While there are questions about their utility and usage, sunroofs have emerged as a favorite feature among car buyers. Sunroofs were previously only available in larger car segments but are now available in smaller cars. Here are the top 5 SUVs that offer this feature for under ₹10 lakh.

Mahindra XUV 3XO

1. Mahindra XUV 3XO The Mahindra XUV 3XO, a new SUV in the Mahindra lineup, is the most affordable vehicle with a panoramic sunroof. This feature is a first in the sub-compact SUV market, where other vehicles are available with electric sunroofs. The XUV 3XO was first launched in India at ₹7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). However, these amenities are not available in the entry-level models of the SUV. For the MX2 Pro model, the XUV 3XO with a panoramic sunroof costs at least 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

 

Hyundai Venue

2. Hyundai Venue With an electric sunroof, the new Hyundai Venue S Plus grade is now one of the most affordable options in the subcompact SUV segment. The Korean automaker launched the model with an electric sunroof last week at Rs 9.36 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently, Hyundai unveiled the Venue S (O) grade, which is priced at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and has an electric sunroof function.

Tata Punch

3. Tata Punch Tata Motors' smallest SUV is one of the most affordable SUVs available with a sunroof in India. The base price of the Tata Punch is Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom). The starting price of versions with an electric sunroof is Rs 8.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Sonet

4. Kia Sonet Kia introduced new entry-level Sonet sub-compact SUV models earlier this year, which also include a sunroof as a feature. The Korean auto giant introduced new models with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 8.19 lakh. The top-tier X-Line version of the SUV is priced at Rs 15.75 lakh (ex-showroom), while the base model is priced at ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with other vehicles including the Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon.

Hyundai Exter

5. Hyundai Exter Hyundai's smallest SUV, the Exter, is one of the most affordable SUVs with an electric sunroof for under Rs 10 lakh. The starting price of the SUV, ex-showroom, is Rs 6.12 lakh. Prices for Exter versions with a sunroof start at Rs 8.23 lakh (ex-showroom).
