Telugu actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, who is the Jana Sena party chief, said that he is getting calls from unknown people, who are threatening to kill him either by staging a car accident or with a bomb.
Pawan Kalyan has a huge fan base in the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and his followers call him the "Power Star". Recently, he made a foray into politics by establishing his own political party named Jana Sena in 2014.
According to some media reports, he is doing everything he can to ensure his party comes to power in the next Assembly election in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in 2019.
Kalyan is currently touring the two States as a part of his "Praja Porata Yatra" and addressing the media too. Recently, during a rally in Visakhapatnam district, he shared with the people the threat to his life.
"I have been receiving threatening calls from unknown people and they are threatening that they will kill me either through a bomb blast or car accident. But I am not scared. I am here to serve the people," Kalyan said. "I don't want money," he claimed.
Pawan Kalyan was last seen in the Telugu movie Agnyaathavaasi, which was his 25th movie.
