'Sexist' comments on Koffee With Karan: Case registered against Hardik Pandya, Rahul, Karan Johar

A case has been registered in Jodhpur against Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Karan Johar for the infamous episode which was aired on January 6

Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and filmmaker Karan Johar are in fresh trouble for their Koffee With Karan Season 6 episode. The two cricketers faced a lot of criticism for their misogynist and sexist remarks on the show.

Recently, a case has been registered in Jodhpur against the two as well as the host of the talk show, Johar. The infamous episode was also deleted by the online platform Hotstar after the controversy.

Later, Pandya had come out and apologised for his comments saying that he did not mean to hurt anybody's sentiments because he faced the maximum heat on social media. On the other hand, Rahul faced criticism for not taking the stand and laughing along.

Post the episode, a temporary suspension was imposed on the duo by the BCCI and was even recalled from the Australian tour. Later, the BCCI lifted the suspensions.

Currently, Pandya is playing for India in the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand while Rahul is with India A.
