Police in Florida are warning people to stay away from the 'depressed' bear and not click selfies with it. As per the social media posts made by Walton County Sheriff's Office, the bear has been gaining a lot of attention after it decided to stay on the side of Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach earlier this week. The office described the bear with some interesting words such as  ''stressed, depressed, lemon zest.''

The post made on X (formerly Twitter) read, "Famous last words, “If not friend, why friend shaped?” Because this black bear is stressed depressed lemon zest. Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies are monitoring a bear on the north side of Highway 98 near County Road 83 in Santa Rosa Beach. Onlookers were trying to take selfies with the bear and he’s clearly not in the mood for pictures. The bear has shown signs of severe stress. We’re going to leave the rest to the pros at Florida Fish and Wildlife who are en route. PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH black bears at any time. The post has several comments from netizens who are wondering about the bear. One user wrote, "Poor baby. Could you please give us an update on him after Fish & Game arrives?"

Another user wrote, "I really hope the bear is moved to a safe place."

To this, the authorities responded, "The bear went back into the woods safely!"
