Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent a message to Indian singer Asha Bhosle wishing her on her 86th birthday on Sunday (September 8)
New Delhi: Iconic Indian singer Asha Bhosle, shared a message on Sunday (September 8) that was sent to her by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on her 86th birthday.
Asha Bhosle, who is very active on Twitter with 4.9 million followers, posted a tweet that thanked Canadian Prime minister Justin Trudeau for wishing her on her birthday.
In a message, PM Justin Trudeau said, "It is a great pleasure to send you best wishes and warmest congratulations on the occasion of your eighty-sixth birthday."
Reacting to it, Asha Bhosle took to Twitter and said that she was happy that her achievements had put India on the world music map.

Apart from Canadian PM, many other celebrities wished the singer on social media.
Bollywood actress Kajol took to the micro-blogging site and posted a tweet that read, "Happy happy birthday to my most favourite always @ashabhosle. A legend in more ways than one always."
Asha Bhosle has been a singer since 1943, with a career spanning over seven decades. The 86-year-old has sung many hit songs such as "Raat Akeli Hai", "Kajra Mohabbat Wala", "Dum Maro Dum" and "Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main".
