Sheikh Hasina left Bangladesh on Monday after protesters demanded her resignation due to ongoing violent quota demonstrations in Dhaka. Television footage showed Hasina and her sister boarding a military helicopter. Her aircraft then flew to India, landing at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
