Meta-owned WhatsApp has updated its interface with green accents for iOS and Android users, aimed at giving the app a new look and feel.
Eventually, the update currently seen in India will reach all users worldwide, although the timing may vary. WhatsApp guarantees everyone will get it on time.
The changes focus on spacing, colors, icons, and overall aesthetics to create a modern, user-friendly experience, enhancing the visual appeal of the application.
Android users will notice increased white space in dark dark modes, light modes, updated color schemes, and new icons, and the navigation tab has been moved down to the chats tab.
iPhone users in India will see green accents matching the brand’s colours, but will not switch to Dark or Light Modes. Navigation controls remain at the bottom.
WhatsApp has prioritized enhancing the user experience by adding attractive design elements and improving the interface layout for ease of use and navigation.
While it is currently being rolled out in India, users across the globe can expect gradual updates, as WhatsApp aims to roll out across all geographies.
