Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat announced her retirement following her disqualification from the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Vinesh Phogat wrote, “Maa kushti mere se jeet gayi, mai haar gayi, maaf karna, aapka sapna meri himmat sab toot chuke, isse zyada takat nahi rahi ab.”
Vinesh Phogat, born on August 25, 1994, trained under her uncle Mahavir Phogat, the father of Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari.
