Earlier, the last date for updating Aadhaar card was March 14. The deadline has now been extended by three months. The new deadline is now 14 June 2024.
If your Aadhaar card is older than 10 years, then you can update the information online for free.
Visit the official website of Aadhaar at https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. Go to the option of updating documents.
Select the ‘What to Submit’ option. Here, you will find the details of the documents required for the update process.
Next, enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code, then proceed to click on ‘Send OTP.’ Use the OTP to log in.
Select ‘Document Update.’ Verify the details by clicking on the hyperlink.
Go to the dropdown menu and select ‘ID Proof’ and ‘Address Proof.’ Upload the scanned copies of these documents.
After uploading the scanned copies of the documents, you will receive a 14-digit Update Request Number (URN) if the Aadhaar update is accepted.
