According to Forbes, the United States of America holds the title for largest gold reserves globally, boasting a substantial amount of 8,136.46 tonnes.
Germany secures the second spot in the list with 3,352.65 tonnes of gold reserves.
Italy, a European country, holds the third spot with 2,451.84 tonnes.
France claims the fourth position with 2,436.88 tonnes of gold reserves. Russia is at the fifth spot with 2,332.74 tonnes.
China holds the sixth position on the list of countries with the largest gold reserves. It boasts of 2,191.53 tonnes.
Switzerland secures seventh position with 1,040 tonnes of gold reserves, while Japan holds the eighth spot with 845.97 tonnes.
India holds the ninth position boasting 800.78 tonnes of gold reserves. The Netherlands secures the tenth spot with 612.45 tonnes.
