Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy has introduced a new initiative to support the UPSC aspirants in the state.
The scheme Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayastam aims to support the youth by providing financial assistance.
Under the scheme, the state government will provide Rs 1 lakh to candidates who pass the prelims exams.
The scheme is for UPSC aspirants who are permanent residents of Telangana. Financial assistance will be provided to those who clear the prelims exams.
Candidates from the EWS, Backward communities, SC, and ST categories will receive these benefits.
The financial assistance under this scheme will be provided only once to a candidate. Those already working in Central or State government will not be eligible for the scheme.
Telangana Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the aim is to provide support to every candidate to clear the Mains exam and perform well in the interview.
