The season of winter calls for mouth-watering dishes like Mushroom Masala. Try this flavourful recipe at home during the weekend.
Mushrooms
1 onion and 1 tomato
2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp each of cumin powder, turmeric, coriander, and garam masala
2 tbsp of curd
2 tbsp butter and oil
Salt and water
Wash the mushrooms. Take a bowl and add mushrooms, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, curd, salt and mix them thoroughly.
After mixing the ingredients, set the bowl aside for 30 minutes. After marination, heat a pan on the stove. Add oil and butter. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté.
On low heat, add turmeric, garam masala and cumin powder to the oil. Add chopped onions, and fry them in the pan. Afterwards, add tomatoes and some water.
Add the mushroom mixture to the pan and stir thoroughly. Add water, salt, and kasuri methi. Cook it for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After the dish is cooked, turn off the heat. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve it with roti or paratha.
