The Dalit movement commenced on 8 May 1933, with an aim of eradicating discrimination among people. Dr BR Ambedkar and Gandhiji advocated for the rights of Dalits.

Salt Satyagraha

The Salt Satyagraha, led by Mahatma Gandhi, began on 12 March 1930. With other revolutionaries, Gandhiji embarked on a 24-day foot march from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi village.

Non-Cooperation Movement

Mahatma Gandhi initiated the non-cooperation movement in 1920. This movement urged Indians to boycott British goods.

Rowlatt Act Opposition

Kheda Movement
