An amount ranging from Rs 250 to Rs 1.5 lakh can be deposited. It is a long-term scheme requiring a deposit commitment of 15 years.
For example, if you deposit Rs 5000 every month for a period of 15 years, the total investment at the end of the scheme would amount to Rs 9 lakh.
With the increased interest rate of 8.2 percent, the total amount would be Rs 28,72,848 after 21 years.
You will need following documents: parents’ identity card, daughter’s Aadhar card, passbook, daughter’s passport size photo, and parents’ valid phone number.
