The ‘Atal Setu,’ the country’s longest bridge, known as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, has been completed. It spans over 22 kilometres.

Reduced travel time
Earlier, the travel time between Mumbai to Navi Mumbai was 60 minutes. Now, the travel time has been reduced to 16 minutes.

The bridge will link the Mumbai Pune Expressway and the National Highway to Goa, reducing travel time for people going to Pune, Bangalore, and Goa.

The project
The bridge was constructed through a collaboration between the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
