To plant a cotton plant, first fill a pot with soil and sow 4-5 seeds at a depth of 1/2 to 1 inch. Now add enough water to it.
Make sure to water the plant every 1-2 days. Seeds may take 1-2 weeks to germinate. Fertilize once a week, with a fertilizer high in potash or potassium.
You will see large flowers in the plant within 45 days of sowing. These flowers turn into bolls after they wither. Then, after 130-150 days, they burst open in the form of cotton.
With this, your homegrown organic cotton is ready. You can use it for worship or cosmetic use. Also, you can store both cotton and seeds.
Do not overwater the cotton plant. You should avoid watering it until the soil is completely dry.
Always keep cleaning the surrounding garbage. This plant needs good sunlight. Do not keep it in the shade at all times.
