How to change your name in PAN card

PAN card is an important identification document which is issued by the income tax department. 
 

If you’ve added a wrong spelling of your name in your PAN card, you can easily get it changed. 
 

You can make the changes in your PAN card from the comfort of your home. 
 

Visit the official website of NSDL e-Gov portal.
 

Under the PAN card services, choose ‘Apply PAN Card.’
 

Select ‘Change/Correction in PAN Card.’ Then, select ‘Apply.’
 

Click on ‘Apply for Change/Correction in PAN Card Details.’
 

Select ‘Individual.’ Enter the required details. After submitting, your request will be accepted and a token number will be provided to you. 
 

Click on ‘Continue with PAN Application Form.’ Three options will appear, choose ‘submit digitally through e-KYC & e-Sign (Paperless).

Choose ‘yes’ if you need a new physical copy. Enter the required details. Fill the correct information. Submit the documents as proof.
