Catching a cold and cough in colder weather is quite common. Many prefer to rely on medications, while some benefit from home remedies.
For relief from cold, mix black pepper and honey to ginger juice, and consume it in the morning on an empty stomach.
To cure cough, heat desi ghee and add black pepper and jaggery to it. Consume it hot for best results.
For throat irritation, mix rock salt in hot water, and gargle two or three times in a day.
A hot cup of tea with ginger and tulsi can be helpful. Prepare tea with tulsi, ginger, cloves, and black pepper for best results.
For quick relief from cold and improved breathing, take steam with hot water. Repeat this process twice a day.
