Play with natural colours

Always choose natural colours made from flowers and herbs. Synthetic colours can be extremely harmful to children and people with sensitive skin.

Keep your eyes safe

Ensure you cover your eyes and protect them from colours, water, or anything thrown at you. If you get colour in your eyes, immediately wash it off with clean water.

Protect your skin

Don’t forget to put heavy moisturiser and oil all over your body and hair. It creates an extra layer of protection between your skin and colours and makes them easy to wash off.

Minimize exposed areas

Try to wear full sleeves and cover your hair with a cap or a scarf to protect your skin and hair from getting damaged.

Respect personal boundaries

While celebrating, make sure you respect other people’s personal space and boundaries. Try to be more mindful and don’t pressure anyone.

Post-celebration skin and haircare

After the celebration is over, clean your skin and hair properly and apply moisturiser or aloe gel. Long exposure to colour and water can damage your skin and scalp.
