Prakhar Singh secured the 29th rank in UPSC 2020. During the interview stage, he was asked some grilling questions. Let’s read about some of them.
Ans- Prakhar Singh answered saying that many graduates move abroad to pursue research. Several professors working at IITs hold PhD degrees from foreign universities.
For his answer, Prakhar further mentioned that studying or working abroad paves the way for new opportunities and avenues.
Ans- Civil services provides with the opportunity of making an impact. I was previously pursuing research, but I could not find fulfilment there.
Ans- Green hydrogen and lithium-ion batteries are common methods for storing renewable energy.
Ans- Electric vehicles are often adapted to foreign roads. Research and development should be conducted in India to meet domestic requirements.
Ans- A good mentor is someone who listens attentively, offers guidance as a friend, and provides right direction.
Prakhar was asked about how people are always curious to learn about their neighbours' private matters. Is there a need for privacy regarding domestic matters in India?
Ans- People do respect their neighbours’ privacy. Everyone is entitled to privacy under Article 21 of the Constitution.
