Manuj Jindal, an IAS officer from the 2017 batch of Maharashtra cadre, achieved an impressive 53rd rank in UPSC 2016. His journey to success was marked by numerous challenges.
At the age of 18, Manuj cracked the NDA exam. However, during the second term of his training, he faced significant challenges, grappling with anxiety and depression.
Manuj Jindal's mental health declined to the point where he was deemed unfit to continue with the NDA.
Following this setback, he graduated from the University of Virginia and worked at Barclays for three years before returning to India.
Inspired by his younger brother’s preparation for the UPSC, he attempted the exam in 2014 but did not make it to the final list.
In his second attempt, he successfully cleared the exam but was placed on the reserve list. However, in his third attempt, he achieved an impressive 53rd rank.
On his YouTube channel, he shares valuable insights and guidance on UPSC preparation. He is also highly active on social media, engaging with students and offering support.
