Saiyam, a 9-year-old kid, is set to become the youngest monk in the country. At this young age, he is ready to embrace the path of self-detachment.
Saiyam is the son of parents Jigar Shah and Kiran Shah. What’s remarkable is that his name translates to ‘restraint,’ highlighting his dedication to spiritualism.
Saiyam’s parents often took him to religious places since he was a toddler. According to a report by the Free Press Journal, he is set to become the youngest monk.
Saiyam’s parents share that he actively attended sermons given by monk Jagatshekharvijay Maharaj during the lockdown period in 2020.
Over time, Saiyam became deeply engaged in religious ceremonies led by the Acharya.
Saiyam, along with his parents and three others, will partake in the diksha ceremony which is scheduled for April 15, 2024.
Saiyam and Jigar are set to become disciples of Krupashekharvijayji Maharaj, and Saiyam’s mother Kiran will become the disciple of Jain nun Hitagnyadh Rashri.
