Alakh Pandey is the epitome of hard work and determination. He is the founder and CEO of ed-tech unicorn Physics Wallah, which changed the face of online studying in India.
Alakh Pandey hails from Allahabad and grew up in a poor family. He always dreamt of becoming a Bollywood actor; however, due to financial struggles, he started tutoring in 8 class.
Alakh's parents sold their house to ensure proper education for Alakh and his sister. He did not let their sacrifice go to waste and achieved 91% in class 10 and 93.5% in class 12.
Alakh dreamt of being an IITian however failed to clear the entrance exam. In 2016, he started uploading educational videos on YouTube, and from there he built his unicorn ed-tech.
Today, Alakh has a team of over 500 teachers and 100 technical professionals helping him run the company. As per reports, Alakh has a new worth of over Rs 2000 crore.
