A love for photography

Gurpreet Singh, a government school teacher with a passion for bird photography and bird watching, decided to take action to create a nurturing environment for endangered species.

Gurpreet has successfully installed 30 thousand birdhouses, leading to the return of these birds to their natural habitat.

Working since 2007

Gurpreet Singh began with this initiative in 2007 as an experimental project. Within 2 to 3 years, positive results of his efforts became apparent.

Reappearance of endangered species

Gurpreet has been dedicated to his work for the last 16 years. He has witnessed the reappearance of 14 endangered species in the area.

Spreading awareness

Gurpreet installed these birdhouses in his home first. Later, he expanded this effort by installing birdhouses in the surrounding areas.
