Types of Bail

Anticipatory Bail
Anticipatory bail is granted to those who fear they may be arrested by the police. A person can request anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the CrPC.

With interim bail, person is released for a brief period of time until a final decision is made on their bail application.

Default Bail
If the accused can demonstrate that the required 60 or 90 days have passed since their arrest without any chargesheet, or complaint being filed, they can request for this bail.
