S Somanath is the 10th Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). He assumed the role in January 2022. Under his leadership, ISRO is achieving new feats.

Education

S Somanath attended St Augustine’s High School. He pursued his BTech in Mechanical Engineering at TKM School of Engineering.

S Somanath earned a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from IISc Bangalore. Subsequently, he did a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering.
