Belgaum, in Karnataka

As per a report by Times Now, the tallest tricolour in the country was hoisted in Belgaum, Karnataka in 2018. The flag stands at a height of 110 meters, or 361 feet.

Attari Border in Punjab

Special events are held here on August 15th. At this location, a 110-meter (360 feet) tall tricolour flag is hoisted. The flag weighs approximately 55 tonnes.

Bhakti Shakti in Pune

In 2018, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation hoisted a 107-meter (351 feet) tall national flag at the Bhakti-Shakti site in Nigdi, Pune.

On the 50th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a 319.5 feet high tricolour was hoisted at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Sarania Hills, Guwahati.

In Kolhapur, Maharashtra, the fifth tallest flag in the country was hoisted at a height of 303 feet. This event took place on May 1, 2017, in celebration of Maharashtra Day.
