Chirag Paswan from Hajipur Lok Sabha became a Union minister in Modi's 3.0 cabinet, a big change from unknown to minister.
The Hajipur seat means a lot to Chirag Paswan because his dad, Ram Vilas Paswan, who started LJP, represented it before.
In 2011, Chirag Paswan made an attempt at Bollywood with "Miley Naa Miley Hum". But its failure prompted him to switch to politics in 2012.
Facing internal challenges, Chirag Paswan, including disputes with his uncle Pashupati Paras, lost his party's symbol, prompting him to form Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas Paswan).
Chirag Paswan joined LJP in 2012. Won elections from Jamui in Bihar in 2014 and 2019. Held leadership roles and served on parliamentary committees.
After his father died in 2020, Paswan had disagreements with his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras, causing tension in LJP, but they later settled the issue.
Even with disagreements inside, Chirag Paswan's new party did great in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, winning all five seats they competed for.
