Arvind Kejriwal is the 7th and current Chief Minister of Delhi. He has been in the position since 2015. He founded the Aam Aadmi Party in 2012.
Arvind Kejriwal graduated from IIT Kharagpur majoring in mechanical engineering. Kejriwal joined Tata Steel in 1989 but resigned in 1992 to prepare for the Civil Services Exam.
Arvind cleared UPSC CSE in 1995 and joined the Indian Revenue Service as an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax. He resigned from the position in 2006.
Arvind Kejriwal was reported to have a net worth of Rs 3.44 crore in 2020. As per the Electorate Directorate (ED) claims, the 55-year-old allegedly has assets of over Rs 128 crore.
CM Arvind Kejriwal gets a monthly salary of Rs 4 lakh with additional allowances including a basic salary of Rs 20K, and other allowances of over Rs 40K.
Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal have two children together, Harshita Kejriwal and Pulkit Kejriwal.
Currently, the CBI has filed a 200-page chargesheet against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and others. He is accused of involvement and manipulation of Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22.
