The Leftist-Islamist propagandists once again have started their regular cacophony of blaming the Modi government and the RSS for the alleged persecution of Muslims in India. Even the grave crisis like COVID-19 has proved insufficient to invoke their conscience. The crisis of this nature and magnitude requires a shared strategy to mitigate the sufferings of people. But what's surprising is - the so-called intellectuals of the Islamo-Leftists strand are leaving no stone unturned in demeaning the government and demoralising the corona warriors.
India, under the ablest leadership of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has been battling hard to contain the spread of the disease. RSS and its affiliated organizations like Seva Bharti, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Vishwa Hindu Parishad etc are working day and night to lessen the miseries of thousands daily wage labourers, migrant workers and people residing in villages and tribal areas. In this hour of crisis, instead of creating confusion and panic, we all need to stand steadfast in our resolve to fight the wretched corona pandemic but certain ill-conceived minds want to find an opportunity to destabilize the government. They have instigated the migrant workers in Delhi and in Mumbai, thereby increasing the chances of mass spread of the disease.
These notorious elements have gone on to spread canards about actions taken against Tablighi Jamaat Markaz and attacks on doctors, nurses and police personnel in Muslim-dominated areas of Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) and many other places. The question is how can we remain oblivious to the treacherous, anti-social and anti-national acts of Tablighi Jamaat who defied the government advisory and then the lockdown call given by the central government? How can we not take cognizance of the fact that a lot of foreign nationals who came to India on tourist visa violated rules and participated in religious activities? How can we afford to not trace out the participants at Tablighi Jamaat Markaz event, the hotspot of corona contagion who pose serious danger of spreading the disease in the length and breadth of the country? Is it not a fact the Tablighis - the potential carriers of the corona virus mixed up with others and went underground have exacerbated the spread of the pandemic? How can we not ensure to give protection to our doctors, nurses and all other health workers and that they are not attacked upon? These are some of the hard questions that these miscreants must be made to answer.
Indian people have rendered these mischievous characters to irrelevance. But they have neither accepted nor reconciled with this fact. Therefore they mock at people when they clap hands or play utensils or light lamps or candles to show their gratitude to doctors, nurses, paramedics, ambulance drivers and police personnel. They are agonized at the fact that from children to the elderly, from commonest of the common to VIP everyone stands united and has faith in Prime Minister Modi's leadership. It is time for them to realize that certain kind of veto power that they once enjoyed is no more in currency.
Democracy does provide a space for critical scrutiny. But such a thing should not be guided by narrowly conceived selfish strife. We need to understand and appreciate the measures taken by central and state governments that have stopped large scale spread of the disease so far. In the developed countries like USA, Spain, Italy etc. the danger is looming large. Therefore, we as society need to stand united in our resolve to fight this crisis. We have a world to fight for once we emerge triumphant in this battle.
