Security forces neutralise 2 terrorists in Shopian district, encounter underway
According to reports, as the jawans were conducting the search, militants fired upon them. A gun battle ensued when the security forces retaliated.
Two terrorists were killed in a gunfight between militants and security forces in Gahand area of Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The encounter broke out on Saturday night after a joint team of security forces launched a cordon and search operation after receiving a tip-off about two to three terrorists hiding in the area.
According to reports, as the jawans were conducting the search, militants fired upon them. A gun battle ensued when the security forces retaliated.
