Siddaramaiah to give next Karnataka Assembly election a miss

Bengaluru: Days after the cold war between the Congress-JD(S) coalition grew icier, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Siddaramaiah attempted to put an end to rumours of him aspiring to become the chief minister of Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters in Hubballi, Siddaramaiah said that he will not contest in the next Karnataka Assembly polls but also stated that he could not stop people from commenting on the issue.
