Bengaluru: HD Kumaraswamy will be completing one year as CM but it is difficult for one to bring to mind programs and development works carried out by the coalition government headed by Kumaraswamy considering the political drama that has overshadowed all other news in Karnataka.
While the opposition says what they remember is Kumaraswamy crying and trying to reach out rebels in a bid to retain his seat most of year as CM, the JD(S) says loan waiver, irrigation projects, Bangalore Metro rail work are few of his achievements to speak of. They defended their leader's emotional outburst saying crying is not a crime.
However, BJP spokesperson S Prakash lashed out at the JD(S) saying that the trend of crying was not started by Kumaraswamy. "HD Deve Gowda has also done it, Nikhil Kumaraswamy has done it and HD Revanna has done it," he said, hinting that tears run in the family, and termed this as drama that will not work anymore.
