More violence erupts in Kashmir as youth pelt stones at polling booths

Clashes erupted in several areas of south Kashmir in Pulwama and Shopian districts as polling staff began to wrap up proceedings from polling stations. Reports of clashes were also received from Tral, many areas of Shopian and several villages of Pulwama.
According to officials , youth resorted to stone-pelting which was retaliated with tear gas by forces to unsure safety of pulling staff. Polling ended at 4 pm in the twin districts of Pulwama and Shopian for Anantnag parliamentary constituency.
A large number of youth also started pelting stones at polling booth staff and the police at Murran Pulwama.
