Following BJP's victory in Karnataka, Yeddyurappa says 'I don’t demand Kumaraswamy’s resignation'

Bengaluru: BS Yeddyurappa, Karnataka president of the BJP, has stated that he will not be mooting the resignation of state chief minister HD Kumaraswamy. He said that it is now time for the JDS-Congress coalition to put their heads together and decide on the next course of action. The statement comes just after the BJP has been leading by a huge margin in the state with respect to the Lok Sabha election results. BS Yeddyurappa had said that they would easily walk away with 22 seats, however, the party is now leading in 24 of the 28 constituencies.
