World Toilet Day: A push for safe sanitation - a feat in which India is miles ahead

Bengaluru: According to the findings of the World Health Organisation and UNICEF, there are a whopping 4.2 billion people across the world who live without safely managed sanitation. This could mean that 4.2 billion people could suffer infections. However, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has been declared open defecation free.
