Temple officials hunt down thieves, hand them over to police
Two men stole money from an offering box in a temple in Ankola. Temple officials scanned CCTV footage, identified the alleged thieves and hunted them down.
Karwar: Temple officials, on Tuesday, caught two men who stole money from an offering box inside a temple and handed them over to police in Kanchinabagilu, Ankola. The arrested have been identified as Lorry Santhosh Manjunath, who worked as a truck driver and Bahubali Basti, who worked as a cleaner. Officials of the temple examined CCTV footage, identified the alleged thieves and hunted them down. The duo was handed over to Kanchinabagilu police.
