Bengaluru: The arrest of over 30 Bangladeshis living illegally in Bengaluru is another eye opener. With a large number of illegal immigrants moving down south, there is a major cause for concern and many have been found to be involved in terror acts too. Laced with this is another problem in Bengal, which has become a hub for illegal immigrants. The latest National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data states that West Bengal has the highest number of foreign convicts, majority of whom are from Bangladesh. Senior journalist Vicky Nanjappa in an exclusive interview with Pratiba Raman speaks to MyNation detailing the dangers of illegal immigrants heading towards southern India.
