MyNation impact: Authorities pave road ahead for neglected Karnataka villagers

Kumta: Days after MyNation broke a story on the deplorable roads that lead up to Medini village in Kumta, Karnataka, which comprises about 53 houses with 400 people, Zilla Panchayat CEO Mohammed Roshan and district collector Dr K Harish Kumar on Friday (June 21) visited the village to hear out the residents and come up with a suitable solution.

Speaking to reporters, Uttara Kannada district collector Dr K Harish Kumar said that chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has directed them to take necessary initiative to fix the road and also provide a detailed report on the cost to construct a new road.
