Kerala teacher writes exam for students; police file case against three

Kozhikode: The Kerala Police have filed a case against three teachers under non-bailable offence for allegedly writing higher secondary exams for students. Mukkom Police, Kozhikode, have filed a case against school principal K Raziya and teachers Nishad V Muhammad, deputy chief of exam centre PK Faisal.
It is alleged that school teacher Nishad wrote exams for four students in the higher secondary exams and corrected the answers sheets of 32 students. Nishad was also the additional deputy chief who holds the special responsibility of the examination.
The Kerala Higher Secondary Examination Board had declared the Class 12 examination results on May 8. The examination was held in March and 3.6 lakh candidates appeared. This year, a total of 3,11,375 students have qualified for the Kerala Plus Two board exam. The overall pass percentage stands at 84.33%. Last year, it was 88.75%.
