Karnataka police detain 16 PFI activists for unpermitted parade rehearsal

Bengaluru: As many as 16 youngsters associated with Popular front of India (PFI) have been arrested by the Karnataka police in KR Pete Taluk of Mandya district.
They were rehearsing for a parade behind a dargah. Smelling something fishy, the police detained them and when they were subjected to interrogation, they spilled the beans. The PFI annual day is celebrated on 17th February. Â The police has booked all of them under IPC 153/177.
