Karnataka MLAs’ resignation: Disgruntled legislators leave for Mumbai resort; 2 stay back

Bengaluru: Out of 12 MLAs who resigned from their post on July 6, 10 have left for a resort in Mumbai. Including Anand Singh who resigned last week, the number of Karnataka MLAs who have resigned from their post recently stands at 13. Rajarajeshwari Nagar MLA Muniratna and BTM Layout MLA Ramalinga Reddy have stayed behind. Muniratna's house has been provided protection based on the directive of the Governor. At least eight constables have been deployed outside Muniratna's house in Vyalikaval, Bengaluru. Muniratna decided to stay back as the audio of Kannada movie Kurukshetra, the movie he has bankrolled, will release this evening (July 7) at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium.
