Kolar: As the Supreme Court delivered its verdict today (July 17) on the issue of the resignations of the rebel Karnataka MLAs, Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar has said that he would follow its advice and be non-partisan on the issue. Opposition leader and Karnataka BJP president BS Yeddyurappa reiterated that the HD Kumaraswamy government would fall on Thursday (July 18) and the BJP would form the government. Ajay Singh, Congress MLA from Jewargi, said that the leaders would study the verdict and take suitable action.
In its order, the Supreme Court said that the rebels MLAs could not be prevailed upon to attend the trust vote on July 18, denting chief minister Kumaraswamy’s prospects of wining the vote to a great extent.
