How's The Defence: Operation Cactus - How Indian Soldiers Saved Maldives

A group of Maldivians led by Abdullah Luthufi and assisted by armed mercenaries of a Tamil secessionist organisation from Sri Lanka led a coup attempt to overthrow the government in Maldives in 1988. Operation Cactus was launched by the Indian armed forces to successfully quell the attempted coup d'état in the island nation.
