Haryana: IAF praises Jaguar aircraft pilot for avoiding tragic accident mid-air

Ambala: The Indian Air Force (IAF) hailed the pilot of a Jaguar aircraft that had a narrow escape in Ambala, Haryana, on Thursday (June 27) for his prompt action that saved not only the fighter jet but also the lives of people.
The moment the aircraft hit the birds and the engine failed, the pilot immediately dropped two additional fuel tanks and Carrier Bomb Light Stores (CBLS) pods, after it took off from the Air Force Station, Ambala for a training mission.
The professionalism and quick thinking of the pilot saved not only a war-waging asset but also the lives of the many civilians residing in the area adjoining the airfield. Watch this video to know more.
