Kudremukh: Days after the Bandipur forest fire, Kudremukh National Park sees instances of forest fire. The Bandipur forest fire lasted four days and the Indian Air Force (IAF) lent a hand in dousing the raging flames.
Bandipur lost hectares of land after it was reduced to ashes. The forest department arrested two villagers for allegedly setting fire to the forest land at Bandipur tiger reserve.
While it has been established that the cause of fire is manmade in Bandipur, it is not known whether it is the same for Kudremukh.
