Delhi court charges Bhagwan Ram with Rs 1.4 lakh fine for flouting traffic rules

New Delhi: Bhagwan Ram from Rajasthan has been issued a challan of Rs 1,41,700 for flouting the traffic rules. Ram hails from Rajasthan and is  the owner of the truck that was found to be flouting the rule. The truck driver was booked on September 5 by the Delhi Police, and was issued a challan of Rs 70,000 for overloading. Then the police issued another challan in the name of the owner of the truck for Rs 70,000 for loading the truck with materials more than its specified limit. The truck owner Bhagwan Ram has said that he paid the total amount on September 9 at Rohini court in Delhi.
