Theni: Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) member Thanga Tamilselvan addressed the media in Theni, Tamil Nadu, when he came to visit advocate Selvam.
Tamilselvan spoke to media persons and said that the move behind sending the advocate to prison despite the fact that he was unwell, was premeditated.
Selvam was the prime accused in the case where bundles of cash amounting to Rs 1.48 crore was found.
Thanga Tamilselvan also told reporters that they will take legal action about the case pertaining to Selvam.
Tamilselvan added that the AMMK and the DMK must join together in bringing the ruling AIADMK government down. But when asked if the AMMK will ally with the DMK, Tamilselvan stated that the AMMK will win without any allies, just like it did in the RK Nagar bypolls.
