Abhinandan Varthaman to cross Attari border by afternoon: Amritsar district commissioner

Amritsar: The Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was captured by the Pakistan Army after his plane crashed on the other side of LoC while on a mission, will be handed over to India by Pakistani authorities today at the Wagah-Attari joint check-post.
Speaking to reporters, Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Shivdular Singh Dhillon said that the timing of Abhinandan's arrival has not been confirmed as the Pakistani authorities have to escort the pilot.
