Election 2019: Ground Report from New Delhi constituency
Apr 13, 2019, 1:07 PM IST
The first phase of polling was over on April 11 but the heat of election is rising every day, as the remaining six phases of polling are still to be held. The New Delhi constituency is currently held by BJP’s Meenakshi Lekhi who won it in the 2014 Lok Sabha election. This seat has been won by the BJP on most occasions but, from 2004 to 2014, Ajay Maken of the Congress held this seat. But this time, the AAP is a contender too. They are not a new entrant in election anymore.
MyNation tried to get the pulse of the people of this constituency for the election of 2019. Who do they want to see as the next Prime Minister? how much are they satisfied with the performance of the AAP? And what do they have to say about the Congress? These are some of the questions we seek answer to in our ground report.
